Being “At Your Side” is how Brother shows up through our Corporate Social Responsibility Programs and initiatives.We're involved in CSR in many ways, including corporate volunteering, donations, community outreach, charitable events, and environmental support & activities.

What are SDGs?
The United Nations Created 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in order to protect the planet and promote sustainable development. While we work with every goal, we have identified key SDGs upon which we have a direct impact and have developed extra focus towards these goals so we can make the most significant impact.

Employee Volunteering and Engagement
Brother offers 2 cultural and civic responsibility days per year to recognize the diverse events and observances that are important to our employees such as volunteerism, community service and cultural celebrations.
American Cancer Society
Brother has been supporting American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life for more than 20 years, contributing annually from both the corporation and additional funds raised by our employees. The Brother Group participates in Relay events globally as part of the Golden Ring initiative to support the fight to end cancer and to provide a sense of unity for our employees.
Arbor Day Foundation
Every day, we invest in sustainable practices that respect environmental resources to support the communities we serve. Our 10-Year Partnership with National Arbor Day Foundation is one way we're helping to protect our environment by supporting reforestation and protection of our ecosystem.
Wolf River Conservancy
Brother has served as a presenting sponsor for the Wolf River Restoration Series, contributing annually toward the protection and enhancement of the Wolf River Conservancy and its watershed. Through our partnership we have had a positive impact on environmental restoration in the Memphis area, and contributed hundreds of employee volunteer hours to the cause.
Clean Ocean Action
Brother is proud to serve as a statewide sponsor of Clean Ocean Action’s Annual Beach Sweeps event designed to beautify beaches and protect our oceans. The Beach Sweeps, held in the Spring and Fall, is New Jersey’s largest volunteer-driven, citizen science and environmental event with 70+ site locations. Through our sponsorship and beach sweeps participation, we aim to support Clean Ocean Action’s efforts while connecting our community to lend a hand and help make a difference.

Brother strives to continuously act to decrease the environmental impact and increase the sustainability of our business operations.
Further, The Brother Group’s Environmental Vision 2050 recognizes the key social issues of climate change, resource depletion, environmental pollution, and destruction of the ecosystem as business risks for the company, and clearly states its continuous commitment toward solving these issues over the long term.
Recycling Programs
We are pleased to offer an environmentally responsible way for customers to recycle Brother products at the end of its useful life. From toner remanufacturing to mail back programs, Brother has a solution for responsible reuse of materials and resource circulation.
