Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

We believe that differences in age, race, gender, gender identity, nationality, sexual orientation, physical ability, background and thinking style allow us to be more innovative as a company. We’re committed to growing and maintaining a diverse and inclusive culture. To do this, we have created employee-centric diversity initiatives and employee resource groups (ERGs), and provide support within the community.

Our Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) make the unique aspects of DEI more tangible to everyone, contribute to a culture of curiosity and engagement,
personify our Shared Values, and align with our Strategic Culture Drivers. Brother’s ERGs share the following missions:

To advocate for LGBTQ+ employees, communities, and customers, with the goal of increasing awareness, creating resources, helping to inform internal practices, fostering an inclusive culture, and expanding Brother’s outreach.

Within Brother

Brother executives acknowledge the fact that as the world changes, global needs change as well and we are ready to adapt to them.

Empowering Our DEI Committee

We recruit members from our various facilities, to broaden DEI’s reach, and expand the voices being heard. We will provide financial and Board members’ support for the committee’s activities.

Expanding Awareness

We invite outside experts and employees to share their experiences and insights on racism and inclusion. For our leaders, we provide anti-bias training, followed up by workshops and programs to promote mutual understanding and support.

Improving Diversity

We continue to increase our diversity hiring efforts and implement programs to develop and support those employees. We will openly report on our actions and progress.
