How do I know if my adapter is part of this recall?

The Meic AC power adapter was sold with Brother AirSure DF-2 Dynamic Filtration Tabletop Air Purifiers between March 3, 2022 and September 1, 2022. The Meic AC power adapter may be identified by locating its name on the side of the plastic enclosure, as pictured in the image to the left. Adapters that do not fit this description are not included in the recall. If you do not have a Meic AC power adapter, pictured in the image to the left, no further action is required.



If you have a Meic AC power adapter, please stop using it immediately.

To receive a free replacement adapter or if you need further assistance, please contact Brother at 1-866-236-6835 between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. (EST) Monday through Friday or at https://help.brother-usa.com/app/ask_capa(Opens in a new tab) to arrange for return of the AC adapter and a free replacement.

Please note: Your USB cord is not part of the recall, and will be compatible with your new replacement adapter. Please do not throw it away.
