Create Personalized Gifts and Gift Tags with ScanNCut
Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, crafting expert and educator, is a paid consultant of Brother ScanNCut USA.
In my opinion, the best part of a handmade gift is being able to really personalize it to fit the recipient. With that in mind, I recently used my ScanNCut to make a personalized birthday gift for my friend Suzanne.
Suzanne is a big fan of owls and goes by the handle, “concerned owl” online. For her birthday I made her a personalized apron! What crafty person can’t use another apron?!
To create my project I used my ScanNCut to cut out Brother Heat Apply Flocking and than ironed it onto the apron.
I used the same owl from the apron to make a matching gift tag:
I rolled the apron up and used the apron strings to secure it and attach the tag — no wrapping paper required!
What’s the last personalized gift that you made for someone?
Talk to you next week!
