Now here is a question for you - what do you do when your very practical craft storage organizer also happens to be very boring? The answer is easy for me – I pull out my ScanNCut DX and customize it!
I found the perfect desk organizer to hold lots of pieces of projects in progress, extra shapes cut from my ScanNCut DX, scissors, and more. However, I really didn’t want something so plain on my desk, so I set out to make it a one-of-a-kind. First, I determined that the material was suitable for heat transfer vinyl then I measured it. Once this was done, I pulled out some vinyl pieces and got to work.
One of my favorite things about the ScanNCut DX is that I can use small scraps of vinyl, and I never have to waste material that I feel may be too small to use – I can get the scraps filled up and put to good use! With the help of some radiant ribbons and stylish buttons to add dimension, this project was fun to do, and my new organizer filled up quickly on my desk. I hope that I’ve inspired you through this tutorial to try and customize your crafts storage organizer – and make every aspect of your crafting colorful and fun.
