This pop up card can be made in minutes! The technique is a variation of a “floating plane,” where the object (a butterfly) appears to float above the base. The butterfly is reminiscent of a monarch butterfly with black outlining orange areas. The front of the card is blank and ready for you to design for any occasion. The key to a successful pop up card is perfect cuts and folds. The Brother ScanNCut does all the cutting with the precision necessary. You’ll cut dotted lines to guide the folds. Use this design as a starting point to make your own “floating plane” pop ups! For example, swap out the butterfly wings for dragonfly wings.
