Directions


  1. Go into the Artspira App

    1. In the top Explore Menu, Click 'Printing Designs.'

    2. In the top menu, scroll over until you see 'Printing Pattern' and select.

    3. Choose a design of your liking. I chose 'Multi Color Weave.' Click Create.

    4. We need the fabric to be the length of the headband so, on the bottom right, click 'Size.'

    5. Click 'Custom Size.' Change the Height to be 24 inches. Then click 'Create.'

    6. Click 'Done.' And you can save if you want to. I chose not to.

    7. Make sure your printer is on and make sure your roll of fabric is set up and ready to go. Click 'Print.'

  2. Allow at least 15 minutes to dry on a flat surface before carefully removing the backing film.

  3. After allowing to dry, feel free to iron on the opposite side of the pattern to remove wrinkles.

  4. Create a pattern that looks similar to this (You're basically drawing a leaf with the tips of the leaves cut off). It doesn't have to be perfect, however, you have to make sure that it's a little longer than half the length of the headband you are working with.

  5. Fold your fabric in half and cut your fabric using your pattern. (the wider end should be on the fold of the fabric)

  6. Glue your fabric to your headband starting at the center and work yourself out. Wrap the edges of the fabric to the underside of your headband. Fold the ends inward and glue.

  7. Glue the Grosgrain Ribbon down the inside center of your headband. Trim any edges that may be peaking out on the side.

  8. That's it - Enjoy
