Intro Post

Brother Crafts Ambassador   This time of year, I like to play around with my craft supplies and try new crafting techniques! Today I have a DIY thank you card to share that offers a wealth of different fun techniques and ways to utilize your ScanNCutDX. For this DIY card, I decided to try a method for heat set HTV on cardstock. Crazy, but it sure does work! Between the intricate glitter snowflake, the layers of detail, and the repurposed free cut file from Canvas online, I have a lot to say about this make-your-own thank you card.

Supplies:

  • ScanNCutDX
  • Standard mat
  • HTV glitter vinyl
  • Cardstock
  • Ink in 1-2 colors, as well as a blending brush
  • Plastic or other material to create stencil
  • Rhinestone
  • Glitter glue
  • Optional: sewing machine and thread

Tip: I recommend thicker or sturdier glitter vinyl for a project like this.

Tip: Your ScanNCut is great for cutting layers for paper crafting projects! From shapes to scalloped edges, in moments you can have a lot of different great shapes to layer and utilize!
