Hi there! My name is Julie Fei-Fan Balzer and I'm super excited to be here! In the coming months I'll be sharing lots of tutorials, tips and fun ideas for using the ScanNCut. Here's a peek at a few of my favorite ScanNCut projects that I've created so far:

I used the ScanNCut to cut out the template pieces for this monster doll. Because of the free motion stitching on the front, the front piece needed to be slightly larger than the back piece. ScanNCut made that easy!

I used the ScanNCut's pen tool to draw the design you see onto fabric. I then painted the fabric and stitched it into this cute little pouch. I love that I can make all kinds of custom fabric now!

To create appliqué for this pillow cover I simply welded together a bunch of hand drawn doodles in ScanNCutCanvas and then cut it out of fabric that I had applied fusible web to. I ironed the appliqué onto the green fabric and added some decorative stitching. Easy peasey!

Using the Direct Cut function, I cut out all 18 of these stamped butterflies for this canvas. I love that I don't have to hand cut around my stamped designs anymore! The title is my handwriting, which I scanned into the ScanNCut and then resized and cut out!

To create the title for this scrapbook page, I scanned in my handwriting and cut it out of white cardstock, which I then painted. Then I took the painted white cardstock and placed wildly patterned paper behind the openings. I love the way it looks!

I love this project because it shows how easy it is to transform a leftover Christmas card into a brand new fabulous lacy Spring card! Because of the ScanNCut's built-in scanner I was able to perfectly place my Christmas card under my cutting file. Love that! I look forward to sharing many more projects with you!
