Directions:
- Choose ribbons that matches the scraps of vinyl that you have. Tie the ribbons into a bow and set aside.
- Open Brother CanvasWorkspace and upload the school supplies file.
- Arrange the scraps of heat transfer vinyl on the Brother ScanNCut mat so that it reflects the grid on the screen. Make sure that the shiny side is down.
Insert the mat into the ScanNcut and set at a half cut and be sure to do a test cut before cutting the final design. Proceed with cut.
- Once the design is cut, weed out the excess with the Brother weeding tool.
- FOR THE CRAYON: Place the vinyl on one end of the bow.
Place the non-stick sheet on top and press.
The non-stick sheet is important to prevent the ribbon from melting. - Repeat this step with the opposite end of the bow.
- At the point end of the “crayon”, cut excess of the ribbon by trimming around the vinyl.
- Hot glue hair clip onto the back of the clip. That’s it!
- FOR THE PENCIL: Place the vinyl on one end of the bow.
Place the non-stick sheet on top and press.
The non-stick sheet is important to prevent the ribbon from melting. - Repeat this step with the opposite end of the bow with the pink eraser and metallic vinyl.
- At the point end of the “pencil” and around the eraser, cut excess of the ribbon by trimming around the vinyl.
- Hot glue hair clip onto the back of the clip. That’s it! Make various colors with whatever scraps of vinyl you have.
