I was inspired by a tiny little stack of seven fabrics a quilty friend gave me a few weeks ago from her stash just because they reminded her of me. That is pretty sweet. Quilty friends are awesome. I thought I would showcase them with some simple white fabric and make a mini for another quilty friend who will be on bed rest for a few months, thinking it might brighten her space. So I decided to call this mini “Pay It Forward”. Let’s get on with it. Finished Size: 21" x 21"

STEP TWO

Sew all the rows together. I like to square up my mini at this point. [caption id="attachment_3299" align="aligncenter" width="800"]

STEP THREE

Step FOUR

Quilt as desired. I used a variegated grey thread and decided on some simple loops. If you are new to free motion quilting on the frame this is a perfect choice. Loops mimic your handwriting. It's also easy to get into a rhythm with making loops.

STEP FIVE

Once finished quilting, remove the quilt from the THE Dream Fabric Frame and square the quilt up.
