for step by step instructions for this look. Blurring masculine and feminine boundaries has become a more common fashion trend. The fashion world is full of revolutionaries that reflect societal, political, economic and cultural changes. With women being so free to experiment with androgynous trends, it says a lot about our place in society today. This double breasted project is a great example of how classic menswear can be redefined by today's modern woman. All you’ll need for this look besides the usual thread and tools, is satin fabric, woven fusible interfacing for the collar & shoulder pads (optional). Denise chose to leave this jacket unlined and used our Brother 3034D Serger
and Brother NQ1300PRW
combination sewing and quilting machine to put this look together! She made no modifications to the Burdastyle Double Breasted Jacket pattern. She cut the jacket to her size, European 36, and a 5/8” seam allowance was added to all edges of the pattern.
