Part 2: Preparing one side of the inside of the bag - Sewing the Pouch for the Nail Polish
Welcome to Part Two of the Nail Bag Sew-A-Long! This video will cover sewing one side on the inside of the bag. We will go over how to prepare the elastic casing and then insert the elastic.
Notice how the elastic is cut to the same width of the bag: instead of cutting the elastic shorter for gathering purposes, the fabric is cut longer and the elastic is cut to the exact width of the bag. This will prevent the bag from scrunching later on.
Then we will run gathering stitches:
Use the Sew Straight™ 2 Laser Vision Guide to help with straight sewing lines.
Gather the fabric for the pouch and attach the fabric to match the center fabric piece.
