What products are part of this program?
This program covers all Brother Business Machine Group (BMG) products, which include printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, all-in-ones, label printers, labelers, and all corresponding supplies and accessories.
I am a Brother Authorized Service Center (ASC). Do I still need to apply to become part of this program (BAPP)?
If you intend to buy and sell Brother products, then yes, you need to apply to become part of the new program (BAPP).
If you do not intend to buy and sell Brother products, but rather just provide service, then you do not need to apply.
I am a BMS (Brother Mobile Solutions) NEXT partner. Do I need to re-apply or apply to this new program to continue buying and selling BMS products?
No, your BMS NEXT partnership remains unchanged. This new program (BAPP) is not connected to BMS.
I currently buy and sell Brother Business Machine Group (BMG) products, and I have a Brother salesperson who handles my account. Do I need to apply for the new program?
No, you do not need to apply. You are part of a different authorization process. Your Brother sales manager will provide you with additional information. Please contact him/her for questions or concerns.
I currently buy and sell Brother Business Machine Group (BMG) products, and I do not have a Brother salesperson assigned to my company. Do I need to apply for the new program?
Yes, you must apply to become authorized under the new program. Otherwise, you will not be able to buy Brother product from our authorized distribution network.
Can I still buy and sell Brother Business Machine Group (BMG) products if I do not apply and join the BAPP (Brother Authorized Partner Program)?
Unless otherwise specified above, if you do not apply and join the BAPP, you will not be authorized to buy Brother product through our authorized distribution network.
Who are the Brother Authorized Distributors for the Brother Authorized Partner Program (BAPP)?
The following are Brother Authorized Distributors for Brother Business Machine (BMG) products in the BAPP: Ingram Micro, TD Synnex, Distribution Management, Essendant, D & H, S.P. Richards, or as otherwise specified by Brother.
I only serve markets outside of the United States. Do I need to apply?
No, at this time you do not need to apply to join this program (BAPP). Please note that you may need to join the Latin American BAPP.
Although I have only one legal entity for my company, we do business under other names. Do I need to apply multiple times?
No, you only need to apply once as long as you disclose all DBA names that your company currently uses.
Does my primary website need to be transactional (with products for sale online) for me to be approved for the Brother Authorized Partner Program (BAPP)?
No. You do not need a transactional website. However, we do require your company to maintain a fully functional website.
My company does not have a commercial e-mail address, can I still become a Brother Authorized Partner?
- No. Unfortunately, we will only approve your company to become a Brother Authorized Partner with a commercial e-mail address. Free personal e-mail providers (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc.) will not be accepted.
What are the benefits of the Program?
As a Brother Authorized Partner, you will be able to purchase Brother Business Machine Group (BMG) products from our network of Authorized Distributors. Resellers that do not become a Brother Authorized Partner will not be able to buy and sell Brother’s tried-and-true product line.
You will also have access to the Brother Partner Portal, which will provide you with tools to grow and improve your business, such as marketing assets, brochures and product specs.
Once in the program, you may have the opportunity to access enhanced benefits should your business meet certain criteria.
